You can play with Rick's color finder program which I believe is in the wiki.

Sadly, Rick pulled all of his software off of the WIKI so it is no longer there.

I like both incans and rgb but not together.  My experiments with adjusting were not favorable but YMMV.  Also, when I see people say they can do any color with rgb, they can't: brown.  There are considerations for using rgb, not all colors look great IMO.  That said, I am 100% rgb and love it.

This will blow your mind a bit, and may be a manner to get brown..

When the original story came out, I put it into photoshop and they are the same color, exactly.

I use 150,83,22 with my nodes and it looks really good in person. I tried to match my warm white icicle lights. Everyone thinks they are really a good match.

And how do you set that color in the software ?
In nutcracker you click on one of the colors. This brings up the color picker. You can then define a custom color.
However if you want the custom color available for the whole sequence you need to change the color first before adding more time markers than 0.00.
I always just change Yellow as I never use it for Christmas sequencing.
