There is nothing like seeing the lights work after you have completed soldering / assembling your first board.  I have never built anything from a kit before and now I have a dongle and two SSR4s.  Bill Learning programmed the chips for me and helped me test everything.  I kept watching for that mysterious smoke and it never came.  I love it.  Now on to my LEs once they arrive.
