  I was given this a while back and forgot about it until the smart string CRAZE , will this work for a power supply or is it to big , how do you tell if its single rail or not, don,t see a 1 or single on it anywhere only one 12v out put. Thinking on buying Smart strings and if this works then I can the banker HEY I am ahead of the game don,t need a power supply LOL <;d

Hum, it a thought. I think you'd need a battery since it is a charger but then if everything rad off it you could even run the show if power was out.

That looks like a battery charger (13.6V), not a regulated 12vdc power supply.

As Timon said, you might use it if a battery was your primary power, but as standalone power I'd say no, not a good choice.

No it will not work. It is just a charger and must see some voltage to even output. Also it's output voltage would be horribly dirty! Like JonB256 said, If you were using a car or marine battery maybe and that is still a maybe. By single rail they are talking strictly a computer power supply.
