No Nutcracker tutorial this week...
« on: September 17, 2013, »
There will be no xLights/Nutcracker tutorial this week. We will resume the following week. Also I will be gone to Puerto Vallarta for the week of Oct 11-18 so no tutorial on Oct 19th.

This week i need to get my heart checked out. I am having an angiogram in the morning. I have been having some slight chest pain and have been out of breath on my Boy Scout outings. The echo cardiogram showed something that they want to take a closer look.

 Wish me luck.

I should soon be back to working on finishing my Kitchen. I have laid 400 sq feet of 20x20" tile. We have put 2x2" mosiac tile embedded in the floor. So far, it looks awesome!
Remember, I need to finish the kitchen before i can make this years Christmas props. Happy wife, Happy Life.

So i hope to be back programming by next week.

thanks
Sean

I'm working the honey do list in parallel to the props! 1600sq ft of hardwood, and painting are on this winter's to-do list along with ensuite shower and windows. If I only lived closer to you Sean I'd enlist your services (for the props of course!!).

Enjoy, what I'm sure is the much deserved break and of course make sure you post pictures of the flooring, if you do 1/2 as good of a job as you have on your props I'm sure the floor looks simply amazing!!

....and for the heart and health, I only wish the most positive thoughts and hope that they can fully explain the shortness of breath and it is a very simple resolution, like taking a week off in Mexico!!

Take it easy Sean, hope everything is fine.  Those health things can be real scary at first.

Well, the angiogram results were not quite what I was hoping for. i have been scheduled for a quad bypass in nine days. I will need to stay in the hospital for seven days after the surgery. I will need to stay home when my family goes to puerto Vallarta on oct 11..

It will give me more time to work nutcracker :)

I am in fine spirits and appreciate the prayers

Wow Sean that is an understatement "not quite what I was hoping for."
Sorry that the bypass is needed. Dad had a triple bypass and both mom and I have pacemakers (yeah heart disease runs in the family)

Will be praying for you and your family and the medical team. You will be fine later just listening to the doctors

Stay strong and in good spirits
