LE v4 Kits For Sale - ALL SOLD

I've been doing a little rethinking of my display and find I may not need all the LE's I have on hand waiting to be built up.  I have 4 Lynx Express v4 kits from the last 2009 LE v4 coop.  These are not assembled and do not have cases or cords but they are the complete kit with PCBs and all the parts that came in the coop.  They are still in the packaging they were shipped to me in.  I'll let them go for what I paid in the coop which was $62.73 each plus shipping.  Send me a PM if you are interested.

6-3-10  I was digging through the piles of stuff and I found something to sweeten the deal.  

The 4 - CG1500 cases I had bought for these LE v4s.  I'm looking to package these up.

1 LE v4 Kit plus 1 CG1500 case for $70.00 each plus shipping.  (NO I will not sell the cases seperately at this time)

If you look at the WIKI you will see that there really isn't all that much difference between the Ver 4 and Ver 5 units.  The ver 5 has snubber resistors which help with some LED strings and a data recieved led which is usefull for debugging.  It also has a reset jumper but to me it is easier to simply unplug the unit rather than opening the case.  Unless you really need these things I would simply leave them at ver 4 and if you really do, then I would just wait for the next coop and get the ver 5 boards and kit.   The real issue with attempting to convert them is that you can wind up on your own if you have problems because nobody would know exactly what mods you made or what they affected.

What I did was to contact RJ and get "extra"  V5 boards ....   the primary changes are addition of the snubber resistors, an extra LED and a resistor, and different 3.3 regualtor.  The board would work without the snubber resistors but the other new componenets are necessary   Then build the V5 with the older kit...     (I was upgrading from V3 to V5 with unbuilt kits) 

I looked at what it would take to mod an older board up to the V5...   It is not an effort I'd recommend.
