in the first picture the orange solid, and brown solid look a lot alike.

in the 2nd picture, if you want to go with the wiring scheme in the wiki, the brown and blue are backwards

+       yellow
-        blue
data   brown

To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!

 Ok here is the wiki instructions and picture.
Not sure what Ray's connectors wire colors represent.

+12v            Red              Yellow/Green-stripe

Here is a better picture of the input SSC wires. I ask some one about the colors. They said they were correct.
