Title: LightShow Pro Tutorial - Live Wii Performances
Post by: LightShowPro on June 07, 2009,
...Curious about how to make a live LightShow this year?
...Heard about the neat lightshow pro features?

Here is a demo of one of the three ways that a Wii controller can improve your sequencing or show experience...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGTgfY4dZ6E

Realyze that this functionality can be integrated with fully sequenced performances as well (in the same manner) to enhance the show on "special nights".

This video is simply a raw demonstration of *not* sequencing anything and performing a LIVE light show...

Hope you enjoy!
David

Hi David,

Very COOL. Looks to be a easy setup and fun to play with.

None of my desktops has blue tooth only my laptops. Talent guitar player in the video and what are you using to display the house and lights?

Thanks

Rick R.

P.S. I doubt in my area anybody will want to be outside playing a guitar in the cold/freezing rain or snow. :D

I am using a usb bluetooth dongle (~$25)
the demo board I am using is something I built for shows...

-its just a 4" deep shadow box 30"x40"
-the image is a photo enlargement of our default display house adhered to a piece of 1/4" chorplast.
-16x20ct mini strings punched through (using drill and heat iron)
-16 channel (ACx16) controller mounted to the back where the plugs all come out...

I could do a video on that if anyone is interested...

i just got an idea. Hack the guitar and create large step on buttons using the guitar chip, extend the wires and bam instant interaction with visitors and your show.

It won't work for me. Normally my visitors are in their cars with the heater on full blast and doing at least 25mph pass the house :D

faster if the road is iced over.

Cheers

LightShow Pro does have a game mode which keeps track of accuracy on "WiiMapped" "sequenced" channels, if the scheduler is in game mode it will send player results to a txt file and announce the results over audio.

Can you post this on vimeo or something, it's hard to follow without the sound.  Looks exciting though
