Clocked by microprocessor
« on: May 06, 2013, »
I know this isn't related to any of the lights we use here(as far as I know, anyway) but I ran across lights in ray wu's store that say they need to be clocked by a microprocessor. I am just curious why, is this how they receive an address or channel number when used with other lighting systems? Thanks, Curious George

Without a link to the lights you are looking at, I have to think that they are a 4 wire device.
Power, data, clock, ground.

Insted of a fixed bit rate, they use a clock to receive the bit pattern.
Have Fun!

Thanks for your reply, I could be wrong but I only see 3 wires on them. Here is a link to the lights: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

thats chinese for you need a controller to run these lights. They want people to understnad the lights do not just plug in to power and work.
