what is the Smart String Controller V2 ? ???
-
Something top secret from the labs of Lynx Works only to be revealed on a moonless night at the stroke of midnight. <pop..

Slight redesign
Higher amp output to handle those trouble maker nodes, a few different resistors and the input side has the power combined. Three wires for + in one hole and three wires for - in one hole. New firmware
That is all I can remember

Was kind of wandering the same thing myself. I see the coop is up, but the wiki is empty and no info coming up in the search.
So is the 'higher amp output' on the V2 supposed to be even better with the trouble strings than the V1 with the swapped 150 ohm resistor?

yes

Hmmmmmmm . . . . .
Less the new configuration for the wire attach points . . . Can a V1 be modified to a V2 by simply swapping out to the new resistor values?

i can't speak for RJ, but if it was that simple, i'd think it would just be one more resistor modification instead of designing a new board?

No the pcb is different also.
