Are we going to create our own local chapter of the Lightbulb Preservation Society?

Incans are like paper checks. I have a few sitting in a box somewhere, but haven't used any in the last couple of years.

I thought I was done with checks as well...then my kid needed braces and the orthodontist wanted pre-dated checks. Go figure...

I still have a lot more incan lights that I would like, but they still work!

I think it'll be at least 2-3 more years before they are all gone.

I know this applies to 40 and 60 watt bulbs as of midnight.  Are they still going to produce incandescent Christmas lights?  I haven't heard.

I figure if they started with 100W and then moved down to 40s and 60s...you know what is going to happen next.

Don't worry though......I don't know of any laws up here in Canada to prohibit the sale of the lights, so I'll be willing to setup a c9 factory in my garage and pirate Christmas lights - just don't tell the Feds!!

I know everyone cannot move all there house bulbs to the more efficient bulbs, but just think how much electricity would be saved.

The jury is still out. I wish I had a dime for every failed CFL that tried to start my house on fire.  <md..

Garbage.

I was scared with my first cfl. Put one in a ceiling fan and thought I shorted the house. Then pulled out the dimmer switch going to the fan and same type of issues.
