Does anyone have a couple of 20 amp fuses I can buy for the Lynx Express. I know I can purchase from mouser but the shipping is about 6 times the cost of the part. Thank you for considering.

Where are you located, what zip code?

Hello,
I'm checking to see if I have any extras.
Meanwhile, if you're in a hurry then DigiKey has them, $4.99 USPS shipping. 5 fuses $0.62400ea = $3.12 + $4.99 = $8.11. https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=507-1622-ND
You might check with your local electrical parts houses and hardware stores, but may cost much more individually. I called Elliott Electric Supply in Conroe, the counter guy said he thought they carried them, said he'd check. I was on hold about ten minutes and was disconnected. (Tech Line said to try Elliott.)
The local parts house here (St. Louis MO) charges $5.10 each. EACH!

Joe, Thank you for going the extra mile!!! I don't need them right away. If you have some extra that will be great. If not I will check with Elliot or Digikey.
Thank you again for you kindness.

You should still be able to find them at the auto parts store

Alternate fuses.
<la..
NAPA, O'Reilly's and Autozone here in STL MO only offer 32V (3AG) fuses. I don't think they have 10mm sockets either. ;D

Joe, I found some at lowe's that might work; the voltage rating is 240, the original fuse is rated at 650v, is the voltage rating of 650v a must?
Thanks! Danny
-
Joe, I read part list again for the voltage rating; it's 250V, not 650V. FYI, the specs for fuse diameter is 6.35 mm (0.25"). I appreciate your help with this!

Hello Danny,
Yes, 250V is perfect as long as it is 20Amp. The Mouser BOM says "Cartridge Fuses 250V 20A Fast Acting" , ceramic, 3AB (6.3 mm x 32 mm). Quantity 2.
Lowes: [ https://www.lowes.com/pd/Cooper-Bussmann-5-Pack-20-Amp-Fast-Acting-Electronic-Fuse/1269443 ] appears to be the correct one.
Ones marked for use with "AUTOS" are typically only 32V and not really suitable for Express use. If they blow hard they'll splatter glass all over the place and can scorch the PCB a bit.
Let us know!

Hi Joe,
Would you happen to have an old DMX dongle or the USB Inteface IC: Interface Modules USB-FIFO Adapter and if yes, what would be the price?
Thank you!

Hello Danny,
Sorry, I don't have any extra DMX dongles.
I just sent an email to the fellow (I sold him a dongle last winter) to confirm that unit uses the new part DLP-USB245M-G2 [ https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/DLP-Design/DLP-USB245M-G2?qs=HXFqYaX1Q2wIRyheXNmSbg%3D%3D ]
The DLP-USB245M-G2 is the suggested replacement for the original part DLP-USB245M-G RJ specified.
I'm confidently sure the new part successfully works on the Lynx Dongle but let me make sure. I just put a DLP-USB245M-G2 on my latest Mouser order, I need a spare Dongle anyway. I'm (almost) sure I have two more blank Dongle PCB's.
