Saw these posted at ACL.

Are these compatible with SSC's?

Hard to tell - he dont list alot of specs on them.
Send him a msg asking for more specs etc - what chipset does it use etc. Then even if compat chipset - no guarantree they are the correct speed for what we use. Might see if he will send 1 to 3 node string as a cheap sample before you commit to a larger qty
Myk

It almost looks like he is placing a C9 cover on the current pixel strings.
-
I agree. I got a C9 cover sample from him that made the pixels look just like that.
-
I just read on another site - these are using the 1804 chip, and are in our standard 5 lengths, so they look like they are the pixel strings with the different covers
looks like he has added some more pictures - they do look more and more like our standard pixel node strings with the c9 over them - so ppls should be able to get the covers and add to their current strings....
-
The covers must add a lot of weight shipping is over $41 for a single string, Over $500 for a set.....And I know Ray works with us on shipping but they are still pricey...

Has anyone received nodes with these covers? Would you recommend them for use on a mini tree? I am doing basic RGB on mini trees and want to use nodes, but am not sure if I just want to use regular nodes or the covers. I am thinking the covers will refract the light more, but do not want to dull it down too much. I also do not want 100-300 piercing lasers per tree either?

Yes. I got the $$ covers and they work. They are nothing more than pixels with covers
