R.I.P. Mom
« on: May 24, 2011, »
Well folks I have news to pass on but bring it with a heavy heart.  Last Saturday, May 21, 2011 my mother of 60 years passed away.

The reason I post it here is because she just recently moved back from New Mexico and saw what I was doing with the blinky and loved it.  She couldn't believe it.....  Just amazed....  She also informed me that I WILL be doing a Halloween display as that is her favorite time of year and favorite holiday.  So I now have to get my butt in gear here and try to get all of this done.  Somehow...

Mom, I Love You and Miss You very much.  You will not be forgotten.

Dean

I know you and I have never met but I know I speak for many here when I say that I am very sorry for your loss Dean. I'm sure she will always be with you in all that you do. It's not an easy time. When my mom passed my daughter bought me a notebook so that every time I had a memory of her I could write it down. It has helped. May God above ease the grief you and your family are experiencing and may your mom rest in heavenly peace. If there is anything I can do to help you, please don't be afraid to ask. Sincerely, George

Dean,

My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom.  For sure you will never forget.

My Mom passed away nearly 18 years ago and I still miss her so much.  Dad's been gone for a bit more than 12 years and it seems like only yesterday he and
I were hanging out tinkering with cars or just shooting the breeze.

Those of you reading this who still have one or both your parents, please, make every minute count and never pass up an opportunity to be with them and share your lives because the day will come when you won't be able to and you will surely regret the times you could have and didn't.

Greg

Did she have a favorite song?     maybe you could do something with it as a tribute?

Dean,
I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you all the best. May the Lord keep her and bless her.
I can empathize with you. I lost my mother on January 17 of this year and lost my mother-in-law on January 31 and lost my father last April 22.
My wife of 37 years and I are still grieving.

Dean,
Sorry for your loss. I hope that you can amaze her spirit with a wonderfully spirited Halloween display.  Carry out her wish with the fantasy and splendor from the many HalloweenS she spent with you.

Peace be with you,
CB

This is truely one of those hard life changing moments in a life and I wish there was more we could do to help you through it. My mother is what got me into this hobby. God Bless you and may gods love help you through.

I’m truly sorry for your loss.  Both of my folks have passed but I still live by the standards they taught me - and I talk to and share my life with them everyday.

Sorry to hear of your loss Dean.

I'm going to be starting to cut up my 100' feet of sleeve material for arches soon.  You are welcome to come by and build some with me to get a head start on those displays for mom.

Deepest Sympathies to you and your family.

I think it is great that your Mom got to see what you can do and left you with some good guidance for the future
which is both supportive and inspirational...

Dean,

I would like to add my condolences to those already expressed.  I was close to my Mom and after she passed away it was the holidays that were the hardest because of how much she enjoyed Christmas.  A lot of my passion for all things Christmas was because of her.

My prayer's are with you and your family.  God Bless
