The EX/RX transceiver has a note on the package to bake the chip before soldering, is this required?, at what temp?, for how long?

No need to worry. Baking is only needed if you are reflow soldering it in an oven. If you are using a soldering iron, it's not needed.

Thanks Mike, I thought that was the case, but since I have no way of testing them yet (RJ - hope the beta TX/RX boards are testing well), I didn't want to build any more boards until I verified it. Thanks again,
