Going to be stripping down alot of machines at work
memphislights:
I think that I will have a lot of power supplies (200-250W ATX), 18ga pc power cords, and pentium heatsinks. I'll also have a few printer cables as I strip them down.
If anyone is interested, I can put a few to the side for the cost of shipping.
Just trying to be green and recycle what I can.

OK, here's the deal.
I have the following...
20 ATX 200-250W that you can hotwire
3 AT 145-250W with switches
14 non-standard 145W where you have to hotwire a 3 pin connector
I would like to limit these to 4 per person, just to give everyone a chance to get at least a couple.

This is what I have available now...
Power Cords 18ga 5' or longer:
White or Grey: 56
Black: 54
I desconstructed all the PC's with a little help, but there were not as many ATX power supplies as I expected. The power supplies are a bit of a mixed bag of NCR, IBM, and HP supplies, most are AT-like with a some non-standard board connections. If anyone is still interested, then I go on and start trying to test them and figure out if I can get them to power up.
memphislights:
Ok, I finally got around to testing these power supplies.
Most of them at 200-250W and range from 6-8A on the 12V rail.
Most of them seem to only be putting out 11.3 to 11.5V on the 12V rail. The 5V rails seem to be about right.
Before I go on and start testing the rest, does anyone know if these will work for the MR16s? At least that is what I am assuming most people would be using them for.
WWNF911:
I should think they'd work fine for the MR16's.
Might want to use in conjuction with the Phils ATX power board.
