I have seen more than once folks say that you should not use the latest Smart string utility with ver1 or ver 2 unmodified SSCs. I have been using the latest SS utility (with grouping) with no problems that I can see. I am not using grouping nor do I plan to do so and do not know if that is a difference or not.
I would like to see this issue cleared up and stated in the wiki if I am correct. i.e., There is only one smart string utility needed for configuring an SSC of any version.
If I am wrong I need to know, but the latest and greatest has been working fine for me.
