Title: Lights for trees question
Post by: NickWaka7 on March 13, 2015,
If you go to Disneyland or downtown Disney, youll notice some of the trees have twinkling likes running on the branches. The wires are very thin and the bulbs are small and round. They are not bullet shaped like most strand lights. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I could buy such lights, or a similar product, please let me know! We want to put lights running up the branches of our olive trees, but standard Christmas strand lights look too much like left up Christmas lights.

Thanks guys!

Are they fairy lights? Do a Google Image search to see if it looks like what you're taking about. I don't know if they come in a twinkling variety, though.

Kind of, but there the bullet is almost non existent. Almost like its just the bulb/light.

It's quite possible they had something custom made for the application. Disney has billions of dollars in the bank for that kind of thing.  ;)

Yes they kind of do! It was just long pieces of wire with flat bulbs of light like that
