Title: Did my first build session today

Kudos to RJ for such nice and simple designs. The thought he put towards ease of assembly and compactness is very evident.

I put together 5 Ex/Rx V2 units and 2 DMX SSR4's tonight. I would have gotten started on the transmitter, but I had a brain-fart and ordered the Tx V1 BOM from Mouser instead of the Tx/Rx V2 BOM. Duh! Additional parts are now on their way though.

I'm in the Express coop for 4 units and am also waiting for the smart string coop to get cranking so I can get the PCB's for a couple of dongles. I'm having fun building this stuff. Can't wait to get my hands on a dongle so I can start testing. If anyone has any spare dongle PCB's they're willing to unload, let me know.

The blinky bug got you for sure.  Congratulations on your hardware assembled so far.
