First Controller Built
« on: January 20, 2012, »
With the help of my dad I got my first smart string controller built/programmed and doing the blinky.

Not only was this my first DLA project this was my first board I've soldered and have to say it wasn't as bad as I had imagined.  Thanks everyone for your hard work on making this possible.

What I think is funny is that I was so scared I would mess up with my first LE that it made it stressful. Now soldering is like a stress reliever, I just turn up some music and solder. I could solder all day if i had to.

Congrats on the finished controller!

I was the exact same way, now doing my second and third ones right now and yeah much more relaxed.  Music going and just soldering away.  Made it much easier having another person there saying do this do that...you did it right now have fun with the rest  8)

Envious of you guys.

If only I could get my hands on parts.....seems to be the biggest thing for me right now.

Did you take any pictures of your work in progress or the final product?

Good job....

be careful, once you have built the first one, you get excited, and rush the 2nd one, then have problems.
