Insurance on packages is usually based on the $ amount or declared value of the package not the weight and destination.

Here's a link to information on the USPS site regarding insurance.

UPS covers the first $100 of declared value automatically over that there is a charge.

FedEx has similar policy for declared value.

Hope this helps.

If you look in the coop info it says to look up the cost of the amount you wish to cover it for and then add this to your payment when you send it in. It says you must add to you paypal notes that you want insurence and how much you included extra money for to cover.

Go to usps and look up insurance rates. Choose how much you want it insured for and how much this cost. The limit I believe for flat rate is $500 value.

If you wish this I will need to refund your payment so you can redo it with the right amount and notice for use to add it to you package. I normally only have a couple with insurance so it needs to be in the comments for me to see when we get ready to package.

You will need to pm me to do this quick as the payments close tommorrow.
