Title: help with varying wire colors
Post by: lashbyrn on October 09, 2013,
I am showing my "amaturity" (I know not a word) here.  Wiki manual for Smart string controller v4 shows 3 pin watertight connector wires as red, blue green. My wires are blue, brown, yellow with green stripe.  Can any one tell me the substitution colors?  >.d9

Thanks

There is a big post in the wiki with pictures and everything showing the correct color changes.

The blue, brown, yellow/green colors are what's used primarily in Australia and other parts of the world.  The wiki has a good explanation:

I'm curious though.  The SSR4 is an AC dimmer so how are you using these connectors which are normally used only for smart strings / pixelnet?

Jim, I think SSR4 and SSC look a lot a like to new people. Probably just posted in the wrong area.  OP actually references SSC V4 in his message
