Palombo Lights 2009 Videos
« on: December 31, 2009, »
I have uploaded our videos for 2009. I am not 100% satisfied with the quality and may give it another go this weekend. I feel the exposure is low, as I am not yet used to my camera's settings.

You may notice I have 3 strings out, 2 on the left fireworks burst and 1 short red string on the roof outline. Not worth fixing this late in the season.

Videos are here, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login. I am currently sharing video of our 11 sequences and 1 media coverage.

Thank you to everyone sharing videos this year!

Edit:  I had to move my files.  Someone recently asked about sharing them, so they are now located here: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.  Enjoy.  I'll post the sequences for 2010 when complete.

Hi RJ!  Yes, doing well, thanks for asking.  Had to slow things way down.   Always a time crunch around here.  I'll admit that I've been out of the loop with the new equipment introduced, but I'm still doing a show with what I have available.   It will be similar to last year, but with some display element changes.

Really great show! I really like your arches, how did you make them? Are they 15' pieces of PVC?
2011 Plans:
   - Second year for dimmable animation
   - 184 Channels of Blinky Flashy :D
   - 8 RGB Flood Lights
It's gonna be fun!! :D

They are 5 sections of gray electrical conduit, cut to 38" in length each.  Each end has the female coupler, so there is waste involved since you must use 5 complete pieces of conduit for the 5 sections.  Then wrapped with two sets of 100 count minis each section.  The 5 sections fit together for about 16' in length when laid flat.  Bend and secure for the height you desire.  I like the sections for easy storage as they just pull apart at the end of the season.  10 channels total with this method.
