The Wally minis I got this year were not to great. The red are more pink than red and the green had a lot of scratches in them. I also have blue lights that I have used for a couple of years and they fade and scratch worse than any other color. I was playing around and took a sharpie to some of the blue lights. I was amazed. They look better than new. I realize that a sharpie is not the solution to do a lot of strings. But it is a great quick fix. I hit all of the problem lights that just kept bugging me with their blaring scratches. Painting them like I read in the forums was not a solution since everything is up and running. I also don't know how long it will hold up.

Thanks for the tip, I've got mini trees with blue incans that need help. Hope there is still a blue sharpie in the garage.
