Don't shoot me but since Pressure is Force over Area you had to use force... I basically did the same thing and it was hard!
hehe, I just meant that I worked it in gently, rather than trying to ram it in there.
I should have used the technique used by Jeffl, consisting off taking apart the strips to reduce the area so less force to achieve the same pressure so less effort !

if you do one at a time, remember that they still secure into each other, and i believe once you have one in, you can only put the next one in going in one direction, as they aren't keyed all the way through. Starting at the right edge of the board (far away from the transformer) and work your way to the left.
