thank you everyone, I really have to say, there is really a sense of accomplishment. Nothing in the display was bought premade, the window boxes and coro trees, were made from virgin coroplast that was bought in 4 x 8 sheets locally.  had a couple of issues with some of the Chinese pixels, but nothing that my newly found soldering skills couldn't fix. I really have to hand it to my wife, she did a lot of the hot gluing and design work on a lot of the elements.

Well done.

What effect did you use on your roofline from 2:45-3:10?  Is that 'garland' from Nutcracker?

Yep, it was four separate sets with garland in 4 different colors.  Nutcracker has been exponentially helpful with my display.

Great job. The first show always gives the greatest feeling, but all the other shows after it also bring the same feeling of accomplishment.

My starting budget was not that nice.  Although my 16 channel LE got my wife to want more.  So now I have a better budget for next year :)

On a side note.  I was ok with the idea of doing DSC's to trim my house, might have to consider at least some SSC's....

Great Job!

believe it or not, my starting budget wasn't all that high either. Hence why we even had to make the coro trees instead of buying them. I was able to pick up 4 x 8 sheets for $10 ea locally which I bought 6 sheets that made all of the trees and the window boxes as well as a few side fixtures used internally.  I really tried to make the best out of my budget, and make every dollar count. My wife was keeping a pretty close eye on it also. Lol.  I bought both of my LEs & my E682 in kit form, not to have the satisfaction of doing it myself, but to save a rather large part of the budget.

for the pixels, I took the less traveled road and made a deal with my own supplier in China. I had to do a lot of research and reading of reviews of their products, before ultimately making my purchase. I did save quite a lot by doing this however, and got them to throw in free 2-day shipping.
