Arizona Mini April 26th

On behalf of Caroline and John Slade, I would like to invite you to the 2014 Arizona Mini to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 26th. (also Thank you to the Slades)
 
We look forward to meeting you all and discussing blinky flashy including all the elements that make up this fascinating hobby. The presentations will be geared for both the novice and experienced.... you will find something to take home and improve your show.
 
Please pay attention to the Actions below. You must respond to this thread for obtaining the final headcount for food, drink, chairs, and etc.
 
Here are the particulars....
What: Arizona Mini
When: April 26, 2013 8 am to 5 pm
Where: Slades Residence (Near 101 and Thomas)
Agenda: still ironing this out (volunteers and votes please)
Optional Dinner plans (To be arranged during mini)
Donation: $7/person to cover food and drinks; Will collect at event
Door Prizes: Fantastic gifts from several notable vendors (have to be present to win)
 
 
The Slades have a terrific location for our Mini. We will have plenty of room to spread out. We have lots of tables and chairs along with IT infrastructure... i.e., projector, computers. So bring your show and tell items, whatever you have someone else hasn’t probably seen it yet.
 
Actions Required by You:
 
1. Please respond to this thread to confirm your attendance by indicating how many will attend and first names (bringing a significant other, spouse, friend, lighting addict...?) We need final headcount. Also please let us know how likely you are, I for one am at 99% but my wife Angie is 70%.
 
2. Please send a PM to Gigogig if you have special dietary needs.
 
3. Please respond to this thread if you will be bringing any gear and have any special needs.
 
4. Please let me know if any members from other forums (or local nabers) will be attending. Pass this notice along to them.

We are working on the agenda for the Arizona Mini to he held on Saturday, 4/26/14. The agenda is tentative and we are still looking for other presenters. Here is what we have so far...

So far we have 18 participants! (Below), and a good draft agenda (also below). The timeslots were shortened with some more time in-between them as was requested in 2013. Also as requested last year the is now a time for a “Sharing 2013 accomplishments and 2014 goals” where we hope that everyone can bring a picture of or some part of their displays or display plans and do small (less than 5 minits) talk about them.
