Title: "dumb" RGB strings
Post by: DanHouston on January 30, 2012,
I've found RGB flexstrips on ebay and experimented with those and for my current purposes they work well (no need for individual node control). I've struggled to find non-flexstrip versions....Anyone working with "dumb" rgb strings (not the flexstrips). I'm looking for 100 lights per string if that matters.

Thanks,
Dan

Like mini-lights.

Equivalent of these:

Only without the node control...I know you can run these in string mode, but depending on the cost difference for this particular project I have no need for individual node control.

That last string design (posted by Slite) does look like the right 12vdc dumb string for my controllers (MR16).

It doesn't say that it is Common Positive though. Does anyone know for sure or do I need to ask Ray?
