Everything is gfi protected. But I'm not taking any chances, ima tie the ground in on the LE that has the floods.

If you are using GFI then you have nothing to worry about other than unexpected pops any time it rains.  Connecting the gounds will do nothing for you but cost you money but if it makes you feel better . . . .
