I attended a Nutcracker demo at the NW CLAP recently.
RGB lends itself to making rainbows.
Can I get a rainbow effect (a semi circle or less) using what's already available or do I need to ask for something more?

I would have to assume there is a mathematical equation for rainbows. Who would know?? ::)

You could look at it this way.
A rainbow is simply multiple arches.
An arch is simply a pole bent into an arch.

i dont think what i have makes a semi circle rainbow. it is pretty easy to model. let me think about it.

Sean,
Your CLAP demo was much appreciated.
What techniques do people use to synchronize Nutcracker output / designs to music?
Making a rainbow out of arches is a distant second to what you do.
Thanks,

There is a new feature of nutcracker that will allow syncing the effect to your music. It will be released in the june/july time frame.
Currently people load the effect into their sequencer then cut and paste it to their real sequence to place it where they want it.
i plan on having rgb arches in my yard so i will be supporting them in nutcracker. probably this summer.
