Freestyle start channel
«
on:
January 22, 2010, »
I am having issues with my Freestyle and after running through the troubleshooting guide (great work btw!) I think my problem is the starting address. Does the address need to be programmed right off the bat or does it just default to channel 1 after the PIC is programmed?
I can't seem to get my SSR's to fire and I don't really know why.
Thanks,
Greg

Greetings,,,
If you're using Vixen, have you tried the test function, with all channels ON, to see if there is any response?

What Keith said. You can do a full 512 test sequence so you have all 512 channels possible in the universe. Then hit the test function and turn all channels on. That will determine if you are getting anything to your SSRs.
To answer your original question I believe the default channel is 1 if you reflash the PIC.
