Freestyle and sinked SSRs
«
on:
December 14, 2010, »
I have been out of the loop for awhile and need an update. I have several sinked SSRs that I use with a Grinch. I think I remember an early Freestyle supported those SSRs. Does the current Freestyle support those old-style SSRs?

Sinked ssrs that trigger by appling a ground is the normal ssr's and yes this is the only type the Freestyle supports.

I am using SSROZ SSRs on my Grinch which I believe are sink switched. Can anyone verify that these will work with the Freestyle. I appreciate any help. Thanks.
Gene.

If this is the circuit you're wondering about, yes, it'll work with the Freestyle.

Yes.. Your grinch SSRs will work with the Freestyle. I started out with the grinch boards and SSRs and went to renard boards and then to the freestyle all using the same SSR's.
