Well as some of you know I lost my brother 10 days ago and with it I have lost my desire for christmas lights as well. He and I were close and I can't even begin to start it up right now. Thank you all for the help thru the year, but no lights til next year. See ya next year.

Sometimes it does take that time away toi brinng back the desire and fun in doing it.  I did that myself a few years ago and it worked for me.  Time does heal but it dose take time and sometims, a lot of it.  In the past 5 years, I lost my Mother, Brother, and Father and today I just lost my brother in law so I know very well how you feel.

I'm sorry for your loss.  I lost my mother this past May and it's hard to get into the swing of things.  I'm trying to force myself to do it but just can't commit to it.   I was so gung ho to do this stuff this year too..  Just no motivation anymore to do it.  I feel for you and know what you are feeling.
