What is the difference with the older version? And how well does it work? Timing delays?

The older versions were separate receivers and transmitters.  The Ver2 unit was a transceiver that could be set to transmit or receive by setting a jumper.  There is an updated firmware for the Ver1 unit that makes it compatible with the Ver2 units.

Exactly as he explained.  The version 2 options were much easier to build as well.  These units worked when built.   These are priced cheaper than the v2 units in hopes that someone might find them useful.
