I don't trust that guy ... his workshop is too neat.

This would solve one of my problems, holding components while soldering.  It would also fix one of my wife's as I ask her.  "Please hold these two wires and don't let go even if they get hot!".

Nice clean design.  I like the clean workshop as well.

The different pledge amounts are listed down the right side.  There also is a list towards the bottom listing the prices and what parts each pledge level contains.

This should be listed as a marriage helper :)

Now I won't have to have my wife hold things for me when she is doing something else that she finds important :)

My wife wouldn't be caught dead soldering with me, or holding parts.

I was getting pretty good at soldering the zeus fuses in upside down (just to get them started/held in place).

Agreed Scott! That is why I pledged for one! Probably just threw away $241.00, but I really like the design. The only thing that I cannot tell is how easy it is to adjust to a different PCB size. I don't see thumb screws on that portion!

To adjust for different PCB sizes you have to loosen the screws on the plates.  There has been a comment about that same thing in the comment section with the suggestion to use thumb screws.  Don't know if they will make the change but since it uses standard 3mm hardware you could pick some up yourself.  That is what I planned to do.  I also pledged for the full kit.

Your question has been answered.  Check out update 5 on the project.  They made a change and will be including thumb screws.

Bumping this up to allow more people to see it.  There are 8 days left in the KickStarter project.  I will bump this once more just before it ends.

One last bump.  The KickStarter campaign is down to the last two days.  I also found a different kind of helping hand on ebay.  A person at work has one of these that he made himself.  Total cost he said was around $40 so the one on ebay does not seem like to bad of price.

Thanks Todd. Just curious, did you back the project or am I the only one here?
