I am just about to order and was trying to decide if I really need the full kit from J1Sys. Everything I have built has the ICSP headers. Do I need a special Attachment to hook the picket to the headers?  Or can I just order the pickit for $50

Joe are you talking about a ZIF board for programming PICs?
If so, this is the one I have and really like it and it is only $10. You just need to remove the top cover because it is in the way.
