Valentine's Day 2012
« on: March 01, 2012, »
if keeping up with my celebrating holidays late this year, i had Valentine's day with the wifey. and decorated the room with smart string flex strips running a simple sequence.

I forgot to take a video, and most of the stuff is taken down already.

I wish you had some video so we could see your WIFE.  ;D
Sam, who is happy he flashed his etherdongle with newest firmware!

I'm not sure how to take that...  lol

i didn't record it, b/c it was just lame slow fades.
i seperated the flex strips in software by 5 nodes. 4 red, and 1 white, then repeat
the 2 flex strips were set to the same start channel so they mirrored each other.
the whites stayed on, and the red di random slow fades/ramps.

i taped a string of 20 plastic rectangles under the table to create a white glow under the table cloth.

i originally wanted to sequence our sing which is Alison Krause "When you say nothing at all"

yeah, yeah, i know the one liners are coming now...

Chris.....

Is it really hard for you to say nothing at all?

I doubt it.....

You know we all like (strong tense to that word).

I wish you would have taken video too.  Do you have a website for your past displays?

I had seen those last year and wanted to post that i did try something this year...
ironically, i have those same mini hearts that he has draped across the from of the couch.
i didn't have any of the other lights, but i used smart string flex strips around the archways, and plastic rectangles taped under the table to create a glow.

Halloween is my biggest show this year. I am going all out... xmas on the backburner!

The good thing is that with RGB LED's I only have to put the lights up once!
