I don't know if I good topic  But I finish to weld my Smart String Hub My trim the 100 ohm 3 watt resistor very HOT HOT smoke start coming out bit  I do not believe that normal
I double check Lynx Smart String Hub Manual very thing look ok  For power I use computer power supply Hec 300 SR-T  For now

Did you replace the resistor sent in the kit with the correct one?  Please see this post for info: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

The large restistor sent with the kits was 15ohm instead of 100ohm.

What change?

If you mean the resistor, then it always had the right info but the coop was accidentally sent out with the wrong part. Just make sure you have a 100 ohm resistor and not a 15 ohm resistor (I think that what was in the coop)
