Is there a requirement for the type of metal in the stranded cat 5 cable?
Does it have to be copper? What about cca?

The problem that you are going to have with CCA is that it is also not as flexable as copper andis subject to breakge. It also has a higher attenuation rate than copper wich under high loads ould get warm. You would be better off with solid copper than CCA.
