Hey all. I wanted to thank you for a successful first show! It was small... and in my BACK yard... and only on New Years Eve... but it was still great!
My party had over 35 people there and they loved it. I had three songs playing on 15 minute intervals that people could walk out back and enjoy them. And the midnight sequence was timed in as well.
Here is the link to my project page: http://calculatedexposure.com/engineering-endeavors/lighting-animation/ (http://calculatedexposure.com/engineering-endeavors/lighting-animation/)
I only was using 18 channels this year, but next year I may do the whole house! (If i can afford the equipment that is!)

Actually those are C6 LED light strings that are meticulously zip-tied in line to a 10' x 3' square of .5" grid chicken wire mesh. I was going to have it start with "2009" then switch, but as I was assembling them on the 30th one of my strings wouldn't light (and the one that made up the 9 barely lit enough to see it, thus the brightness difference). So I was short a strand of lights and EVERY SINGLE STORE around here was sold out so I just had to shorten it!
Those are two year old LED style lights that are crap. New LED lights this year! Hopefully on CDI's presale!
Thanks for the compliments everyone!

I just realized that I had the countdown embedded on my page twice instead of having musicbox dancer. I've updated it for all of you that are interested :)
