Repainting Blown Molds?
« on: December 13, 2011, »
Has anyone every repainted a blown mold?

I have a little Santa Clause that needs some help.

Not sure if I should brush, spray or sponge paint it.

Also what type of paint (brand, type, etc)

Also is it possible to remove some paint that is in the wrong area? Like the black for the bag is on the white trim of his coat.

If this works I would like to touch up some of the bigger stuff that is being used in the show.

Thanks

I too have a couple of little blow molds needing paint.  A 3’ Santa, a couple of 4’ candles, a snowman and several other pieces.   If you come up with answers, please let us know!

Thank you Rick!!

I'll probably have a problem with "Remove the light housing and any screws or light cord and put them where you can find them in a week or so."

Yep.

Putting a note on the ‘fridge doesn’t work for me.  I just found a note reminding me to pick up some wine for my girlfriend – a girlfriend I had three girlfriends ago.   (grin)
