the Flexible strips that you can get in the wiki that work with the SSC's

what is the width of the strips?

not at home in front of them atm - but i am guessing about 1/2"

The silicone sheath is 1.5 cm, the actual strip is 1.2 cm.

so at the very least, it will fit in a tube 1.6cm ID ?

It might be tight feeding it through, but should fit, and you could take it out of the silicone sheath if you make the tube waterproof.
