Power Consumption of the Express Itself
« on: December 10, 2011, »
Good evening All,

I hope everyones display is running beautifully. I sat one up for a Thanksgiving and it was absolutely amazing. Thanks to everyone at DLY for helping make it happen, especially RJ!

Would someone tell me if the Express itself draws any power and if so how many watts /amps. I have an Express V4.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to All!

Danny

i imagine it should be in the neighborhood of the input on the transformer.
To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!

I measured  both a version 2 and a version 3 some time ago and they were between 2 and 3 watts standby.  I haven't measured my version 4's but I would expect them to be in the same range.
