#1 2 LE receiver kits
#2 1 transmitter kit
#3 1 receiver kit
Since I am a newbie do I really need the fourth parts listed to make a wireless LE?
Put me down for:
Kit #1 Qty - 4
Kit #2 Qty - 1
Kit #3 Qty - 1
Kit #4 Qty - 0
*********Update***********
A pricing error was caught on the standalone receiver. I duplicated the price for the LERX when I made up the opening post.
The correct cost for the Standalone receiver has been added to the post.
I am sorry for any trouble this may have caused.
Bill
The three choices to order are :
Kit #4 RS485 DIP socket connector (This module will plug into the RS485 socket that will allow the LE receiver to be used with the other Lynx controllers)
Basically you can add wireless to the Original Lynx, SSR4, FreeStyle, MR16.

Bill,
I'm trying to understand why I need any stand alone receivers if I can just use an LE receiver and this connector. Any info?
Thanks,
- Paul

I noticed that we are way over the $5000 limit (almost on kit 1 alone). Does that mean those orders placed after the limit is reach will be on the next coop or what happens? Just curious as these are my first coops and I don't remember reading about this situation in the rules.
Thanks,
-Keith

Fantastic Job. Happy Birthday To Your Wife.
JJ
Started sorting the ESD packs last night. With the help of the wife and son they are 95% complete.
I have sent out shipping payment PM's. As long as I get your shipping payment by Friday August 14 2009. I will ship your package out this Saturday August 15 2009.
There are two members that I did not send shipping payment notices to that will require special boxes.
I will PM you when I know what the shipping charges will be.
I would like to say thank you to a special member of this Co-Op who helped in a major way to make sure that we would all have wireless in a timely matter this year. If it were not for this member parts arrival would have been much later in the year. I will not say who or what they did. That is up to them if they wish to say or not.
I would also like to thank my wife. She stayed up with me until midnight last night to help sort the ESD bags. And many other nights to sort the plastic bags. It is also her birthday today. So happy birthday.
Also many thanks to RJ and Family for creating the wireless and investing the time, money, and support to make it a reality.
Bill
A belated Happy Birthday to Mrs. Bill!... and heartfelt thanks to the Mystery Sorter!
Bill, I am in your debt again... I know I probably add to the nightmare it must be to run a coop this size with my all special requirements. You're the BEST! I wish there were some way I could reward you for your generosity. Thanks so much...
John
Do you a black ESD box?
Bill
So is it a definite that because I received my kits in the first shipment that I need to reprogram the PIC? Is there any identifiable codes on them that would indicate one way or another if the first shipped kits might vary?
Does all that make sense?
Thanks for all the hard work.
steve
I hate to be such a nuisance, but I got a few more questions about this re-flashing. I can't find the post describing the problem with the PICs, so I need to verify something.
Do all versions of the wireless need reflashing (TX, RX, EX/RX)? Or just the TX?
Is the link on the wiki now pointing to the proper firmware for download? I'm guessing that each version needs different firmware downloads - is that correct? For some reason, I thought that version 7 was mentioned somewhere, but I believe the name of the download has a '5' in it.
As always - I'm confused. (Still considering changing my user Id to something that indicates that so I won't need to keep saying it)
