Hard to beleive with 5000 members there is only 145 votes.  True a lot are probly not as active as others, but...

And a lot of us have been here for years so we don't need a lot more.

And a lot of us have been here for years so we don't need a lot more.

And I can think of even more reasons.  They could be:
- taking January off
- busy getting their plan finalized to determine what they do need
- looking at what they bought last year that they haven't even used yet
- re-finalizing their plans when they see how much their first final set would cost. :)
- busy taking last year's show down
- doing research (both new and old members)

I fall into at least a couple of those, but I put in my $0.02 anyway to make sure I didn't forget.

Regarding the third item up there, I like to think of that extra as what I under-bought for this year rather than what I over-bought for last year. :)

I would say little to none for the following reasons.

1.  This pole for some reason is only for Lynks equipment and the upcoming Pixelnet to DMX converter is not a Lynks piece.

2.  Even if it were added, nobody who has already voted could vote for it so he results would be innaccurate.

3.  This is a new device so there is little doubt that there will be a coop offering for it so there is no need to ask.

Just because something exists in this forum doesn't make it a piece of Lynks equipment.  The DMX tester and the Servo controller also exist here and were not included.

We can not tell the other designers when to coop their stuff. They do it when they want to. Because of that having their items listed on the poll does not make much sense. On my stuff we find out what is wanted and then see if we can get someone to run a coop for it. They normally run their own coops. If they want a coop manager to run one for their equipment, since they are all coop managers they simple would ask in the coop managers area for someone to do it.

In my case I have a umber of items and we need to see what the priorities are to make that choice.

I don't see putting those items in the pole as telling them to do anything.  It simply gives an indication to them of the desire or demand for their items just like it is doing for yours.  I guess that they could do a pole of their own but it just seems easier to me to do it all at the same time.

As for the Bobcat coops, I will likely run some this year.  I do have bare boards for the servo and the pixelnet splitter on hand if anyone needs them.  I have a few ideas for improving the tester; let me play with them before running a coop for it.

I agree that it would have been nice to see the poll include ALL kits hosted at this site.
Further, it would be great to have the store include PCBs for ALL kits.

Obviously there are problems doing this with the store, since paypal needs to be directed to the owner of the boards.  ...but I am wishing without regards to practicality.  :)

Yeah I am ok.

Fun: As in the coop Managers getting their coops, Members ordering kits, Managers getting money, ordering, sorting, mailing kits out, Members getting kits and soldering them up.. Fun  ;D
