Title: Deck the Palms
Post by: aERonAUtical96 on December 23, 2009,
So I went with a "warmer" type theme this year.  Since I live in Florida, we do the holiday's a little different down here... ie golfing in shorts on Christmas day :) So I thought I would do a little tropical christmas.

I have 1 FS w/ 32 SSRs (combo of SSRoz and RJs SSR4) and 4 LEs.
With last minute additions (2 homemade flamingos), over 14K lights.
180 channels used.
20 mini palm trees
6 arches

The radio sign was my first cut-out.  Borrowed the idea from a PC post.

Usually don't go w/ inflatables, but these seem to fit the theme.

Not the best video and editing job.  Used friends video camera and didn't know the appropriate settings.

Enjoy

C7s on the roofline.  Going to try to extend them along the pitch lines of the roof next year.  Need to make some custom length LED strings in order to do it tho.  I have heartache about cutting a perfectly good string of LEDs :)  Well, actually I have 4 burned out strings from Lowes that I'm going to test with.

Thanks for the compliments.
