I like the "challenge" part. Adding new things, troubleshooting, design improvements. When I get to point where I put up exactly the same display and play the same set of songs two years in a row, it will be time to quit. (Of course, I said pretty much the same thing about turning 40 before I turned 20)

I do give out candy canes, though. No charity donation box. No advertisement.

Glad you got your tree back up.

We rebuilt our tree last year in the relative dark.  Straight line winds somehow picked it up and moved it over about 2 feet.  Stuff happens.  Get over it and fix it.  You just learned what you have to reinforce next year.

My wife and I stopped by Cas's Display tonight.  It was awesome!  I can't believe this is your first year!  It looks great!

Cas, my family and I watched your show tonight.   I loved how you lit the trees down the street.  Of course, the Aethers really lit up your home.  Everyone watching with us was enjoying the show too.  When I pulled up, there were 6 cars watching.  Thats awesome for your first year.  Job well done!

Hey Cas, aren't you glad you did not quit.  Is is quite a rush to see a show that you put together run on a display that you sweated over, disasters and all.  Ask me how I know.

Believe me that the only reason I gave another shoot, repaired the damage and keep trying was because all the amazing people in DLA. We already got so far more than 2500 cars stopping to see the show with very good feedback.
