Another fun use for Blinky lights!
« on: June 01, 2009, »
Living near lake Michigan there is a annual festival that has a lighted boat parade.  It made me think about all of my toys stored till winter.  Why not use them in the summer on a boat for the parade.  It's got to be easier at 80 degrees then 25!!

Has anybody tried this?  I thought leaping arches and bellagio lights would look pretty cool.  Along with some LED wash fixtures and a couple moving lights and a boat load of mini's!

The only hurdle will be that generators and blinky flashy don't always mix.  I don't know much about it, but not all generators are equal.

Sounds like fun

Instead of a generator how about some inverters (DC to AC)?

In  Ocean City, NJ they have a "Night in Venice" where they decorate the boats.
