Frank, how do you get the whole house sweep in the LSP at that speed? I was never able to get the whole house quite like that where I could go back and forth and back and forth.

I assume it is an LSP feature in the TSO video , but the way you can wash the colour from one side of the house to the other is really neat. If that xyz coordinates come into play next year with xlights I'll be really impressed. I'm in awe of that effect. really love it
-
I believe lsp just knows the coordinates from the x,y location of objects within the visualizer and applies those effects based on that. I had always wanted this in lor. I think if xlights just gave you the ability to assign models within a spatial map that's all you would need, I think as soon as you go x,y,z then it gets really complicated

what did you use for the pinwheels above you garage? nodes or strips? how many nodes per strip ?
thanks

Frank, can you tell me more about your conical-shaped trees near your front door?
-
Duane,
Spinners are using 15 nodes on each leg of the 1809 flex strips.
Gary,
The conical trees are built from PVC. I built these many years ago by making an octagon base and either adding a tee or a snap on tee in the center of each section. From there I insert a 5 foot section into each tee that I have drilled a hole through the opposite end. Then I run a piece of 12 gauge copper through the holes to keep the top together. This was based on the Z-tree design that was popular on Planet Christmas years ago. I adopted the idea as a way to hide all the controllers in the yard.
For lights I have wrapped each of these trees with ws2811 strips spiraling from the top to the bottom. Individual pixel control is overkill for these elements. I use the same strips for the arches as well.

Frank, can you snap a few photos of the conical trees?

Every year I keep forgetting that your just down the street from me. <fp. From Lincoln, CA. If I have time I may drop down to see your set up. Will be trying to go Pixel this upcoming year. Hopefully it'll pan out.
