OK,
I've built a LE, and it works fine.
I've now built 4 SSRs, and can't get anything out of them. I've tried updating the address, with the Lynx address utility. I tried using the same test sequence that I used for the LE, nothing.
I haven't tried programming the pic, as these came from a coop.
So, a couple of questions, do the Pics come programmed from the coop?
How do we know what channel is assigned?
How much stress do i put on myself waiting so late to try building these things?
thanks guys,
Bill

I'll update myself.
after looking at the board again, I noticed that the chicp next to the transformer looked just a bit wonky. I pulled it out and straightened the pins. I also noticed the little plus sign on the chip as well as the PCB. I lined them + to +, and plugged it back in. Lo and Behold, thar be blinking here captain. <fp.
So, off to try to change the start address.

All firmware defaults to start address 1
Did you try both ways of setting the start address that is in the assembly manual?
Make sure the board is only on when the directions to turn on and stays off the rest of the time
Cheers

I had to use the second set of instructions to change the start address. I now have 3 working SSRs.
Have to finish 3 more and another le before next weekend.
Thanks for the advice.
