to start, i was going for a one to one replacement of existing mini incans that were on it.   then after i do one, i can see if it's bright enough.  i think they're like 24" and 36"  or maybe 18" and 36"  small deer / big deer

If you are going for a 1 to 1 replacment then you should be good to go.  My dear (even the small ones) have more than 50 lights on them so I thought that you were couting on the size of the LED's to make up for the lower number.  Perhaps yours use less.  Please post the results.  I am really curious to see how it turns out.   I am also curious to see how the water proofing works out.  How are you going to attach these custom strings to the frame?

i;m using smaller leds  (5mm) to try to get as close to a mini look as opposed to the 8mm used in smart strings.

i'm using the silicone to waterproof, then a second time when i'm ready to attach to the wireframes.any repairs can be done by cutting through the silicone.   it claims to be permanantly waterproof and flexible (of course in a construction setting) so at least they should make a season or two.  i'll find out after a season also, if he material yellows or not.

Yawn, it was a typo.  Now I'm afraid to post after such hostile attacks.   ::)

overnight???

I never said that

Now you mention it. If we could get some nano bots to build veggies over night it would help out the space program.
